White 3500 for sale on Ebay?

Hi All,
There is a white 3500 auto for sale on Ebay at £6.5k item number 322389319915 does anyone know this car is it really worth that much?? i must admit i really like the look of it but not for over £6k :eek:
 
Does look very well, the other way to do it is pay less for one then sort out the problems as they appear......;)

Interesting (for me) that it was supplied by Mann Egerton Chelmsford and I could have been working there at the time it was sold if I'd accepted the apprenticeship they offered me in 1975.
 
It could be any of those.....hard to tell after the amount of paint shopping those photos appear to have had :-0
 
There are a few bits that could do with sorting on it, but it does look like a very nice car. I'd pay £6.5k for that any day.

I personally would say no more than £4k and how can having a personal opinion bring down the value of our cars? well sorted is it?? one observation was of untidy two mins to sort out wiring going to the well thought out positioned facet fuel pump being sited directly behind the headlights what a safe place to put it !!
 
I must admit that my eyes are drawn to the 1/4 panels, as both of them are rusting from the inside. I would want a really good look underneath before parting with £6.5K. It's been taken off ebay now though, so perhaps he sold it.

Or perhaps the seller is on here and is attending to the faults from the comments made on here o_O

Maybe that car isn't worth £6k. But in your original post you said you 'really liked the look of it' but not at that price so the inference was that you didn't feel a nice V8 was worth £6k, which obviously it would be. That's all I was saying.

The Daimler was for sale the same time as P6 i had an XJ6.C about 10 years ago it cost me £2.5k i sold it for £2.5k lovely car but hidden rust made me sell her :-(

Correct i did say i really did like the look of the car but not with the faults that were obvious to the naked eye i did not mention those as fear being a bit picky and were later pointed out by Harveyp6! Your comment of what i think a "decent well sorted" P6 was worth which i my personal opinion is not spurned me to mention the Incendiary Device located behind the headlights and must make you wonder with all those faults WHAT else lies beneath rant over i hope this has cleared the confusion up ;)
