Which club?

i have recently bought a P6 and obviously joined this forum. I would now like to join a club, there appears to be two main options.
I appreciate that it may just be a matter of personal preference or style, but what are the main differences between the two clubs.
It seems this forum is shared by both, is that the case?

The forum is independent of both clubs, but used by members of both. Forum etiquette dictates that we don't get involved in the merits or otherwise of either of the clubs here though.

Approach the clubs directly and I'm sure they'll be happy to send you some information.

I appreciate your comment about discussing the merits of the two clubs which is why I asked what the difference was, in an attempt not to upset anyone.
I would imagine a direct approach would be like asking two rival service suppliers which was best!!! But I will try.
Thanks for your prompt reply,
Bob

Hi, as Harvey points out the forum is club neutral. Feel free though to PM individual members of the site. I'm happy to give you an opinion in private about the two clubs as others will be.

It has the potential to be political so I hope you'll appreciate that it's unfair for me or any other moderator to have to end up arbitrating arguments. (It happens!)

Thanks,

Rich

So would I.

I seem to remember that happening on here in the previous incarnation of the forum and it wasn't very pleasant from what I remember.

Hi, I fully appreciate your points, perhaps you should just remove this thread if that is possible?

chatted to other club when at NEC show.seems club was originally one but divided into the two clubs as differences in who to run it emerged . profit versus members interests etc was apparently a key point.
was invited to join other club and the members news sheet did in fact looked first class. however have stayed with own club for time being. site here is I find neutral and as such a far better option than any political or others bias we may find. so far members have as far as I can see. been helpful to each other . offering spares or even free in a few cases! .can\t get much better than this site .my own local club is more for local members and a social outlook and charity work. has a poor website by comparison and no active sections such a stash where questions can be posted and so on.
if theres an aware for user friendly sites then this must get one. much credit to administrators and members whom give advise and time to assist others.

In anticipation of buying a P6, I've joined one of the main clubs (without much soul-searching which one, more on a whim). Life is too short to get involved in the often petty squabbles between clubs. This isn't unique to Rovers - the bizarre amount of venom between certain members of, for example, the Triumph Sports Six Club and Club Triumph has to be seen to be believed.
