Anyone tried something like this?

I'm thinking this would protect the rot spots at rear (lights, wing top etc) and help the splash seals at the front.

That site is s really interesting and very well written up, even if it's not a car I'm greatly interested in.

Not yet. It's on the list of things to do as it seems like a very good idea, but I haven't got any further than thinking about it.

Hi, there are available inner liners from a company called lokari, based in Finland. In Norway they cost about £250 for all four corners. They are made of aluminium.
I have thought about having them but havent come around to buy them yet.

They do them for the P5 not the P6. I'm also not seeing any advantage to using aluminium either. 2mm of ABS would also cut road noise. Might give it a go myself.

It does seem to be a worthwhile addition to the P6. Cutting down on road noise would be an added plus.
