I dont know about anyone else, but I would love to know if these free cars do find homes, and what becomes of them?

Pete - how about an article in the mag? (it would help you to fill a page or so ;))

all the best

OK then

If you get a car off here for free then email me a pic and details.

All will become clear when (eventually) you get the August 2003 issue of P6 News.

It would also help me greatly if I know that the cars have gone so I can remove them from the site..... :)

Well, to save the suspense, the 2000TC I had went to a good home, someone looking for some good panels and found them.

I acquired the 1972 P6 2000 SC from Northampton from the "free to a good home" section of the Forum.

The chassis and brakes are in a bad way. Getting quotes at the moment for welding etc.

She'll be cruising the M40 in to time atall i hope!

I take it when you say Chassis is in a bad way you mean the sills and arches.

These are the most common place for the p6 to rust. but don't worry to much because the parts are available and once they are done you know they are good.

There are many p6's which are bodged or just ok. by sorting it out you have a clean slate.

The brakes aren't a problem either. If you don't know anyone try LSUK they are everywhere and they rebuild brakes and prices are decent for what you get.
