Hi. John from New Zealand. I am the proud owner of a really good Mk1 P6. it has a really straight body and exellent upholstery, especially after I had the drivers seat rebuilt.
We recently enjoyed driving a 3500 Mile tour of the South Island. Rovers original home. I have recently bought a 1974 Rover 2200 T C for parts as it is in an unrecouverable state.
The engine has been removed and the plan is to rebuild same and install it in White Rover along with other improved items.
John Maskell.

Welcome John, where abouts in Aoteraroa are you?? Have you any pictures of your P6, one of my aquaintainces is trying to sell me a 1974/5 2200TC at the moment in need of interior restoration and a paint job, he saved it from some one who was going to Banger race it, but I suspect the wife will Kill me just before she divorces me if I buy it :D so i will have to stick with my P6B.

Hi John, glad to see you made it! You'll find a lot of very knowledgable people on here and a lot of enthusiastic owners too.
See you around, Al...

Hi John. Welcome. Good to see so many Kiwis on the forum. I have a fairly rough 2000TC (series 1) but as a daily driver it works just fine. Best wishes. Peter.

John, welcome to the Forum ! You say in your 1st post you had the seat rebuilt ( ? ) Were you happy with the quality of work + would you recommend who did the job ? I looked at a dozen P6's before I bought one and almost all needed upholstery work to some degree...

Hi Graham.
