Watch your cars

The good news, at least for us, is that it's P4 and P5 ONLY.

P6, SD1's etc. not allowed.

I've noticed already that dead P5's are changing hands for major money.

The backwards effect of this may be that a few P6's which had been put away by racers for this long-mooted meeting will come onto the market.

Oh they do Mr. Pilkie. The P6 design team did us all a great favour with that in the late 1950's.
 
I've heard of quite a lot of P6s being bangered, though. Why are they no good for bangering? I'd also have thought that the SD1 would make a perfectly acceptable banger...
 
P6 is a bit "soft" at the front, very quickly you'd have the radiator jammed in the engine, and you'd soon be going nowhere. However, having seen an SD1 take out a lampost and drive away, I'd say they would be pretty usefull.
