These were pretty rare when new (V8 auto owners tended not to be as sportingly inclined as TC owners) - positively hens teeth now! One comes up on Ebay occasionally. Better - buy the housing for a 4 cyl one and fit an aftermarket 8 cyl rev counter. There's nothing clever about the wiring harness. I suspect Rover only had one to make it easy to put together on the line - for an aftermarket setup it's probably easier to wire it in individual wires. Only downside of this method is that you don't get the red line marked up on the clock face.
