WANTED...! Radiator cap for '74 P6B auto'...

I shall give that a try...! To be honest it was the last place I would think to look as I thought they would just cater for modern motors nowadays...

Find you local well established factor and not one of the new breed motaman/halfords.
I think mine has been going since the car was invented!
If all else fails, ebay,,they are pretty std, long or short reach with differing pressures!!
And if that fails,I am sure I can dig you out a s/h one!!
BTW?? There are a few good members close to you that should be able to sort you out pdq!!

I'm in Weybridge... I think there is a proper, independant, motor factors in Shepperton that I can try... Are there any others you can recommend?

I was thinking of one at the top end of Shepperton High Street - I think it's called Top Gear ? Last time I went there I thought he had a good range of the traditional stuff

Oh yes 'Top Tune' a real old skool factors, I forgot about that...! I'll be there as soon as possible to see what I can get...

Haven't you got one yet??
15lbs pressure rating.
The info should be in any of your manuals under cooling!
If you don't have any yet ,I suggest you get one PDQ as you will need it eventually.
Minimum requirement is a Haynes 085 Rover 3500 1968-1976,all V8 models.
And if you can also find a set of the red ring binder workshop manuals vols 1 and 2,even better!
You shouldn't have to pay more than £20 for a good set inc p/p!!
And a haynes is cheap,£5 for a V good s/h one!!
Unless you take it to a specialist garage mechanic who will relieve you of lots of the folding stuff very quickly!
