Hello all,
First post here, figured I’d toss this out as I’m keen to add a couple classic Rover saloons to my stable. Mind, I realize the P5B Coupé will have to come from England (or elsewhere) and likely I’ll be bringing a P6 V8 over as well (I’ve got a few cars I’ve imported from Blighty over the years; Dolly Sprint, 2500S Estate and a TVR Griffith 500). I certainly don’t mind RHD (obviously) but I know we had some federal spec P6s here in the US so if anyone knows of one for sale here, please do let me know.
I do have a couple of candidates I’m looking at in the UK, one of which is listed on carandclassic.co.uk which is how I found my two Triumphs and the TVR, but open to any suggestions of potential cars.
As for specifics on the P6, I’d prefer a series 2, doesn’t matter if it’s manual or auto, not particularly color sensitive but definitely no white.
On the P5B; must be a Coupé, definitely a dark color (Arden Green preferred above all). Not looking for anything needing major work but I’m ok with driver level/“rolling resto” cars.
Having brought enough cars in from England in the past, I’ve got it down to a science so can make a nice, easy deal happen for the right car(s).
Thanks all and happy to be here!
Cheers,
Aaron
