Very late, S-registered 2200TC

This looks like an interesting car, being on such a late registration. 2200TCs are a variant that I'd like to own at some point in the future, but this one is just too far South for me to consider, at the moment. Pity that the rear valance and rear wings have a considerable amount of black paint, and the fact that the floor's been patched on the driver's side would mean that I'd like to see what the sills are like behind the covers. The interior looks particularly nice, and it could be an interesting project for someone. Doesn't seem to be one of the ex-German cars, as it doesn't have the curved gloveboxes, but it's interesting nonetheless.

Fraser, I was talking about this with Nick last night - it's remarkably similar to the chatterbox (so please someone buy it before I crack and do so myself, I have too many!!!). We just need a photo of under the bonnet to see if it has twin servo's or not, and a look at the front decker (in front of the windscreen) to see if it has any blanking plugs, otherwise as you say, there's nothing there to suggest it's a german spec, other than the fact it's exactly the same spec as my old one.

Just spotted this too. Interesting car and may well be stupidly cheap depending on condition of course. Item condition states “Driver sill rusted. body work needs attention. engine needs tuning” yet no mention of any problems with the sill in the text. You have to wonder why the MOT was allowed to lapse if it's in as good condition as he says it is?

" anti rust primer" ?

"floor has 3 coats of hammerite...boot has 4 coats of hammerite" Lovely!

"new upper and lower seals" What does that mean?
