Valuations!

I may have broached this subject before, if I have, please forgive me! The subject refers to getting my cars value increased. At the moment as far as insurance company is concerned, my car is valued at £5,000. But since that was done about 3 yrs ago, I have had a new S/Steel exhaust fitted plus new carpets throughout. Plus the engine has been given a complete overhaul! I am at present having new front & rear dampers fitted. So I feel myself that the figure of £5,000 is a might on the lean side! The question is, do I go back to my insurance company to request an increase or some other body concerned with valuations?? My insurance is due by 23rd August!

all the above is a prime requisite for a classic car owner
