V8 PARTS, GET 'EM WHILE THEY'RE HOT ! Page 4

It gave me great pleasure making that nut, it was the first job that I made on my Myford Lathe, inherited from my father in law who sadly passed away recently.
If I had known that you would be taking such a high res image I would have made it prettier

Tish & fie. All members will only regard the superior engineering achievable on a superior vintage lathe.
Also, l saw Rich today who's transforming Bruiser. I handed over the various parts for the work to him & he expressed surprise at those rear spring seats & shims as it turns out he was going to inform me that Bruiser's were well past their best & could do with replacing.
So thanks again.

I haul timber with a Welsh Cob, and a neighbour half a mile away breeds Arabs. If you’re ever West you’re both welcome to call and have a run in the oldest Mk 2 P6b known to be on the road. I’ll even wear my own pink trousers ( or red, or yellow: as worn proudly at the Royal Welsh Show).
I showed Welsh Cobs at the Royal Welsh as a youngster. Derwen Black Magic, and Bucklesham Prince Arthur, I used to work at Bucklesham Welsh Cobs in Suffolk.
Good times !
