V8 Front discs

I'm doing a bit of work on my brakes and have read on an old post here that transit vented discs will fit on a v8 P6. Does any one know what you have to do so they will fit, machining ? different callipers ? etc etc . Any info will be appreciated .

I have heard the same, but there are many different types of vented discs that fit transits and I don't know which one to use.

The calipers are split apart and distance pieces fitted, you will need to have these made up, as well as fitting longer bolts of course. I'm not sure if they will fit inside a 14" wheel either, but I have 15s so not too worried about that.

Keep us informed if you get anywhere with this please

Cheers

there is a company who supply both vented discs and brake callipers to suit in either solid metal as normal or lighter alloy billet. can be painted etc to suit tastes. sadly not cheap..have a peek at Fosseway performance.

I worked on a Rolls last November and that had solid discs and 2x v8 calipers on each side-cross pipe went from bleed nipple hole to inlet of other caliper--maybe that would work for you--or possibly transit mk2 as not front wheel drive might fit with little machining--failing that--Wilwood--maybe---
