Sorry to bring this up again Web men, but are you any nearer sorting out a users gallery.
I want to post some pics of my car, and ask some questions to other users about it, which are best described by showing some pictures.

Can you give me an update on this please.
Thanks.

Don.

Good grief, some people eh !
I've been working on it on-and-off this week and just have a couple of issues to sort out before it can go live. Should be going live next week.

I've even had some time to work on my P6 today ! :D

Sorry Sir, It was about 7 weeks ago that I first put the idea about, and I wasnt aware that you were the only webmaster. Tis a thankless task, but Im sure we all appreciate your input.
Thanks again.

( I hope after all your hard work it gets used, else im gonna feel a bit of a nerd)

Don.

Don't worry Don I'm sure it will be used, people are always asking where they can upload their photos, also it helps with people putting photos into their forum posts.

Don! ???
Why not just post the pics or a link with your questions!
That way we can have a look see at the car and give you the help you need!!
It would have been far quicker than waiting for the users gallery to be completed,as setting it up aint easy!!

Dave, I think one of the problems a lot of people have is that you can't directly upload photos into your posts, you need to "host" them somewhere and then put a link to the image in your post. A few members us photobucket to do this, but not everybody finds these things that easy.

One benefit of the gallery will be that users will be able to upload their photos into the gallery and then link to them in their forum posts, saving them from using a seperate service.

Thanks for the advice Dave, allthough Richard is right, (for me at least) Ive not long learnt "how to" on most computer wizzardry, so pasting, photobuckets, and such like are gobbledy gook im afraid.
Actually my 13 year old daughter uploaded my forum pic for me in seconds, ridiculous isnt it?

Ive been looking through some of the technical posts tonight, and it seems to me that many folks are asking questions about their P6s, who are not old hands at mechanics, silly questions some of them, but the sort of silly questions I might ask, and if you can post a pic of the part to accompany that query it would/should make it, (a) more interesting, and (b) easier to answer more acurately. Plus of course we can all get to see users cars, and pick up some good ideas etc. Keeps you keen during those long winter months when there are litlle or no events on.
Cheers for your replies Chaps.
Don.
