Note the wheels on a P4 were designed for cross ply tyres and although can be fitted with tubeless cross plys they are not really designed for tubeless radials. There is a lot of debate on this subject but I was warned by Rover engineers when I worked there and Michelin engineers, that a tube should be used with radial ply tyres when fitting to P4 wheels.
That may well be true, and I'm not arguing the point, however most radial tyres have ribbed inner faces (for greater pleasure) and they can chafe the tube and puncture it. So check what's being fitted.
