Hi All,
Has anyone got two of these spring clips please the ones that you put on the inner door winder/opener before pushing them back on i will obviously pay for them and postage as i have somehow mislaid mine god knows how has everything else is where i left it ie in the car on the i must have a Haunted P6

Over £3 each o_Oo_Oo_O out of principle i wouldn't pay it and encourage them its not as if they are rare items or hard to make for that reason i would rather try and make my own or hopefully find the ones i lost/mislaid but thanks anyway ;)

At that price Id be using another type of clip. Your local DIY man will have the right size.
The original clips once set free from the back of the winder, are light sensitive and hide

Free they certainly are and hiding very well indeed i really cant see how they have hidden themselves that well as i meticulously put put every bit off every door in to each footwell. As previous every other bit was there so all my doors have resembled except the passenger front door due to magic disappearing parts the car has only come out of my garage on to my drive and back in again UNLESS of course there is a magnetic fault line on my drive that has sucked them into the bowels of the earth :D:D:D

More common than you may think, pretty sure Boris will have that sorted soon enough.

I remember losing one once, spent hours looking for it and even took the front speaker out to use as a magnet, combing the drive with it.

I eventually left the rear window winder off and drove around without it until I found time to go to the scrapyard. Managed to find one, then took it home, went to put it on the handle and found there was already one on there :(. I must have put it back onto the handle when I removed it in the first place

:)

That's an option, but we often forget the probable time, fuel, parking & the 'they don't quite fit....' issues that may be encountered to save the price of a pint or two ;):D

Wouldn't take long to form one out of an HD paperclip though, and I think Chas's meaning was that he wouldn't pay it on principle.

Saying that though, we buy a lot of different products here at work, and buying 'just a few' does mean the cost it fairly high. If I bought 25 of those, I would expect the price to be £2.00 or so but if I bought 10,000 of them we would be talking pennies.

Delivered to your door from China

Probably, and if they are anything like the doorlock barrel retaining clips my mate bought for his Ford F1 they won't be spring steel and will just bend all over the place, and hold nothing.....

Absolutely the original ones are from the photos a lot smaller I know photos can make them look a lot bigger but the the original ones look a lot smaller in diameter, I am not so sure how you make them to have the spring effect ?

Not sure about those ones above but I recall that Bresco make them in the UK along with just about every clip on a P6

Would you believe i have just found one of the bleeders just sitting there on the carpet under drivers seat no doubt the other will appear giving me the finger
