Re: Transport for gearbox! York or Bowes to Bristol..
ALL.
At last I have replaced my dodgy BW35 autobox with a good s/h one.
2nd gear has been on borrowed time for about a year, gradually getting worse and slipping more.
1st and 3rd were fine, but 3rd's no good if you cant get past 2nd.
Anyway box is now in and running, just got the final setting up to do tomorrow with the kickdown cable, and gearlever location needs a tweak.
Thank god for my 4 post ramp.Best tool in my box/garage. 8)
It was still a bitch of a job,as it just wouldn't line back up to go in on sunday,so I stopped for lunch, watched a film, came back out 2hrs later and it popped straight in!
A nice relaxing b/hol weekends work for a petrolhead, but I earn't my long unwinding soaks in the bath and steak and chips after work.
MOT on weds,so it will be set up for another years daily driving.
