I took the car for its MOT, well more of a chat and a catch up and she charmed her way to a pass. Had a spirited drive home, was breaking traction accelerating on the straight bits, a reminder to be careful as it is still cold out there.
Got home and changed the oil and filter, all good for the season. Anyone else woke theirs up yet ?

Yep, did 42 miles on Sunday, just a cruise around the block. Warmed everything up, had a bit of a play when the road was clear.

My daily driver is actually quicker than Sparky, but driving him around on Sunday was just an adventure.

Mine are out & about all year.....& their bodywork shows it ;)

Hazel never likes waking up in the cold & damp; BOP is so-so with it & OCC (the 2000) is positively raring to go - it always starts within seconds!:)

My blue meanie is my only car, lives outdoors and gets driven in all weathers. It too was rewarded with an oil and filter change today for having had to slumber out in the elements all winter. Forking out fifty squid for someone else to do the draining and refilling chafed a little bit, but that's just the way it is until I find a garage to let. Last week I was back in Berlin, and I took advantage of the unexpected sunny weather to go for a stroll down memory lane, so to speak. As I had rather feared, my old lock-up has already succumbed to the developers bulldozers. Sadder still, my friends at Classic Wheels who helped me so much with my long and complicated rebuild are closing for good this summer. To top it all off, it ain't stopped raining down 'ere.

its funny really my P6 has lived outside for 3 years, but has been inside for weeks now having the new carpet and interior fitted, i found one very small damp patch in a front foot well, now its all dry and tidy (inside) i dont want to put it outside any more, and ive never been precious about getting cars wet!
