Hi
could any one help with the thread size on the connections to the carburettors
please many thanks
and a happy new year

You might want to state which connections, which engine, and even which carbs. There are a few options to choose from.

Good point sorry
its a p6 3500s with I think hif6 carbs and has what looks like compression joints onto the carbs
hope that helps a bit

Do you mean the fuel compression nuts & pipe ends, its possible it 1/4 BSF, but I am not 100% sure

I have a fuel pipe in black nylon with male threads each end. Both are 20 tpi, one with an OD of 0.493", the other 0.429". 1/4 BSF pitch is 26tpi.

Hi well I’ve now had some time to decide where I’m going with this.
I’m sticking to the electric pump and fitting a filter king regulator some new floats for the carbs, using a qgauge to set the pressure, and an inertia switch as a safety.
keeping the set up with no return to the petrol tank as my car is completely missing one.
any views input would be appreciated
thanks Paul

A bit more info - the nut that holds the reserve tap on its mount is listed as 7/16 UNF. Seems to be about 1/2 the usual thickness of a nut that size.
