 Took me a moment to twig that the speedo was in KPH. I was VERY impressed for a minute there!

But TCs didn't come with 200 MPH speedos did they?

However if you think of it, 120 MPH isn't a problem at all, i 've got a 3,08:1 diff and it was facing downhill.

Although i wouldn't take my hands off the steering wheel to hold the camera at that speed .

Took the car for its first family run on sunday (24/07/11) Me my partner, son and my grandmother. All on roads in the glens around here, car ran perfectly for the first time in a couple of months , around 1500 rpm in fifth mainly not much gear changing required :p

Heading to Blairgowrie

Sorry not all windscreen shots but sort of story of cars first proper outing , and very relaxing drive it was to! :)

Not strictly a bonnet view, but definitely a windscreen! This was taken a few weeks ago by a friend in the back seat. The effect was completely accidental, but I think it looks great! It was probably the P4 visors that caused it.

Not a view out of the windscreen of my P6 alas, but since it's a very rare sight in Melbourne nowadays I thought this worthy of a post... Have seen this car around a few times now, but typically never when in my own P6 so the owner has probably thought me a bit of a nutter waving at him and giving the thumbs up every time.. :)

There's some fantastic scenery there guys!

I uploaded this one a while ago somewhere else. This is Burdale between Driffield & Malton, just over the North Yorkshire boundary from East Yorkshire.

...& this is Garrowby Hill east of York in the snow.

Shortly after this the road was closed. Some of you non-UK residents may be surprised by this!

Ok, well the first 2 are throught the windscreen, although it's the 75 screen not a P6. Managed to get away to North Wales for the weekend, took quite a few pictures, the first 2 were taken on the run over from Betws y Coed to Llanberis.

This one wasn't even through the windscreen, but I had to share anyway, taken from Conwy Castle, over the 3 bridges, using the Panoramic option on my camera.

Hampshire, so lovely and green!

From Scotland to Wales and everywhere in between, to Greece and the United States, to New Zealand and Australia, the view looking out from our Rovers,...just wonderful.

Do keep them coming.. :)

Ron.

Not as scenic as some of the other posts, but significant for me as this was my cars first long run at highway speeds since having the engine rebuilt last year, and just being picked up after finally getting my gearbox leaks fixed. 120 km ride at 100 - 110 kmh - Spectacular!

These pics were taken today, August 30, 2011, only one more day till Spring. The weather was gorgeous, 19 degrees C, no wind, just perfect. The location is near the town of Cowra, N.S.W, Australia, which is some 180 Miles (300km) roughly inland from Sydney.

The views were taken through the windscreen and from the driver's window. In each photo the yellow fields of Canola look lovely combined with the blues and greens.

Some lovely countryside there Ron, everything is looking very lush and green - is it the same up there that this has been a recent change over the brown dried out drought conditions we've had down here for the last 10 years? Whenever out of the city recently I keep finding myself amazed at how green Victoria is looking as I got so used to seeing it completely dried out.

Alas my P6 has been staying in the garage of late as I've not had a chance to use him much, he got a new friend also from the BL stable today in the form of a 73 Jag XJ6 S1. Think we can officially say I need to stop buying cars now as the garage is officially full.. :(

Think a run could be called for to get some more inspiring out of the windscreen shots for me to post up this weekend since spring appears to well and truly have arrived in Melbourne.
