The View From The Windscreen

Going over Hammersmith Bridge two weeks ago in my P5B Coupe, taken by my passenger Tony... Roger Chinnery of 'Affordable Classics' is up ahead driving his gorgeous Mk1 Consul GT...

Nidge

Recently I saw this fellow standing in a paddock. Some weeks earlier I had seen two, but didn't have my camera with me at that time, this time I was in luck.

I have been spotted.

I have seen that Rover go past before.

I walked over to the fence so as to get a better look. The Camel didn't mind at all.

I spotted this little chap on the side of the road on Monday. There are many different types of Kangaroos, and this one is an Eastern Grey. Once I had taken the photo and started to slowly move forward, he hopped down into the gulley and away.

Later the same day returning from Yass, the sky was bleak and the outside temperature had been as low as 3.5 degrees C.

A cold road stretching on.

A few drops of rain add to the cold outlook.

Nice pics Ron :)

It looks like you could do with a spot of rain down there ! I spoke to my uncle in Lancefield (VIC) and he said they are desperate for rain

Adam

Thanks Adam :)

Yes it has been very dry in N.S.W too, not on the coast but anywhere away from it. Spring, Summer and Autumn have seen very little in the way of rain, and apart from the last week or so has been clear and sunny pretty much every day.

Couple of shots from the journey down and back from the SARR with Gary (Lovel) and Paul (Brannigan)

Great photos Tammyboy :D Beautiful colours and so soft and green. That magnificent castle, whereabouts is it, and when was it built?

Ron.

Thank you for the lovely pictures of Glamis Castle. I haven't been there for a few years but used to pass it when I lived in Kirriemuir. I had hoped to return with my P6,WSR***K but unfortunately am unable to. Keep up with the good photos which remind me of my youth.
Hector
