The Maxwagen

I can see the law requiring a pedestrian with a flag walking in front of the driver warning others of the danger approaching

The great eccentric folly, it's about as practical as a hinged walking stick with a wheel on the bottom.

It was listed a few months ago and got similar reactions. Not being a Beetle fan, I rather like it! But I'm not sure what the rear wheel achieves - without it, the car would be a less radical 3-wheeler.

IMHO I can only see one use for that..........to raise comments and debaite
And I've just added to it

I have never seen this before  At first, I was reading the ad' and thinking, why, why, why? It looks like the guy took a Beetle apart and put it back together but forgot where all the bits went? Then I spotted the patent. Is it fair to assume the builder was trying to design/patent a car with the smallest turning circle possible? Why have no major car manufacturers snapped up the design :D :?:
