I have just modified one of my wheel arches so my Magstar alloy doesn't rub. I plan to do the other one tomorrow. I actually used a scissor jack which I had to hand and placed it in between the inner wheel arch on the chassis member and the bottom corner of the outer arch. All looked like it was going well but I hadn't allowed for the fact that this section is rather springy and as I let the jack off the corner returned back to almost where it had started. (I had chosen not to remove the back wing firstly so I could monitor the amount of movement and any possible outer wing movement, and secondly because NADA rear wings have a rear bumper mounting point going through a hole in the lower rear corner so are a right pain to take off!). I wasn't expecting that! However what it did do was squash the inner skin down so more clearance was achieved. A little extra work with my large persuader and the needed clearance has been achieved! It still needs a little fettling and a good coat of underseal but I am now a happy bunny! Just one more side to go!
