Hi to all the people who appreciate the products from Solihull. Many thanks to all for the kind words of welcome.
I have been working on Rovers for over forty years & have always loved them. Much nicer to work on a Rover rather Than a Jaguar, BMW or Merc.
I have owned several V8 Rovers, the first an early 3.5 P5B in the mid seventies. I thought if it’s good enough for the Prime Minister
It’s ok for me. I also had an early P6B 3500S. A friend bought it new & I looked after it for a few years, when he was finished with it I bought & sold it several times to friends until it ended up looking as in picture “Before”. With help from harveyp6 it was restored, see picture “After” & I drove it for a couple of years before I sold it again.
I also have a 1965 88” series 11a Land Rover with a 3.9EFI & Borg Warner 66 auto box. I’ve only had it for 31 years so it’s nearly paid for itself. My Sunday best car is yet another Rover V8 powered vehicle
This one is a Range Rover classic 4.2EFI. One of the last classics built in 1995. It has now covered just eighteen thousand miles from new. It has never had a drill put to it.
Best wishes & a merry xmas to all.
