Sweeney Tribute Video

I must have been watching a bit too much of The Sweeney on You Tube as the following was recommended to me:

It's a tribute video made by a group of fans, on a very limited budget. I think they've done a great job - it was certainly good enough to keep me watching until the end.

There is a bit of P6 action as well - a blue V8 as a police car, as an added bonus.

Like the Ventora in the opening shot, "my dad had one of those" GTD114k, guy he bought it off had repaired it after a bump, painted it with English Electric Lightening silver, went like one too!

I think they've done a great job - it was certainly good enough to keep me watching until the end.

It was certainly a lot better than the POS remake with Ray Winstone. Jeez, that was two hours of my life I'll never get back.....

Thankfully I saw the trailers and on the strength of those decided I wasn't going to enjoy it, so never bothered watching it. I've never heard anyone say anything about it to change my mind either!

I thought it couldn't really be that bad and it would get better as it went on. It was and it didn't.

As bad as the Stallone remake of Get Carter.

Most of these remakes are complete rubbish.
Get Carter is one of my all time favourites.
It must be a age thing as most of my younger work colleagues won't watch the original Italian job or original Sweeney films!
