I am going to rebush my rear suspension and wondered wether to use the plastic bushes or stick to the original that I have used previously?I have read reports of these plastic bushes being to hard for the p6 and spoiling the ride,I noticed on the previous post someone advising to use the softer plastic bush?Any members used the plastic bushes ? would be interesting to know how succesful or not they are thanks gary

Hi Gary, I cant answer the question as to which is best , but if you decided to go with the standard bushes then give S & G Walker a ring, They are retiring and clearing stock - I got a set of rear bushes at approx half price just before Christmas. Worth checking them out if you need anything else.

I would tend to go for genuine original bushes.
Although I believe you can now get different grades (shore) of Polybushes from Superflex. I may be worth enquiring with them on the Polybush options.

I'd go for the softest polybush option. My 3500S was already fitted with them when I bought the car and they are fine. I think there is a little more harshness in the ride but it feels much more taut then any other P6 I've driven plus they should outlast rubber many times over.
I depends what you want. If you want the smoothest, softest ride then fit rubber and be prepared to change them regularly to maintain optimum performance. If you want more sporty handling then fit soft polybushes.

I've also fitted some to my Morris 1000 van with good results.
