steering wheel on ebay

Looks like mine - only upside down :)

This was sold to me as a rare P6 option.

They're rare compared to other P6 steering wheels, but not at all a favourable price at current exchange rates. I have one on Bruiser which came with Fay when l bought her. Not real wood but comfortable in use without PAS, super-light with (as Fay has). Size as per standard wheel.

Hmm, is it not still in the car? I have a leather bound one I could swap. I also have a fake wood one I bough about 2 years ago but it has cracks. I bought it for $130. If yours is in as good a condition as it looks I think the market value would be around $240.... Are you interested in any kind of swap though?

Sorry, but you did ask if anyone had one for sale. A bit difficult to make swaps as I see you are in Australia, and I'm in the UK :)

OK, no swap, but I am interested in the Steering Wheel. I did a quick calculation and $240 Aus is currently 132 pounds. If I round it up to 140 pounds will that be enough?

Really sorry BabySunshine, but to be honest, I'm not really comfortable sending something to the other side of the world to someone I don't know. I didn't realise you were in Australia when you first asked.

I hope you understand

Regards

Richard

Yes, I know hard to come by parts are difficult for people to let go. I had a real job convincing somebody to sell me a set of ET head rests....got them in the end though. I've had the car for about Two years now. It was a NZ assembled one. A 1976 model with factory air conditioning. I had a T5 transmission installed 2 months ago and I'm getting the carburetors rebuilt in a couple of weeks. The interior was re upholstered by the former owner in the cheapest nastiest material. towards the end of the year I plan to get it redone.
