steering wheel, hub caps needed

I need a new steering wheel and different hub caps, a friend of mine at work told me these hub caps should have the long chrome nuts that sometimes go with them

I note in the picture attached that the driver didn't have the chrome nuts, just the normal ones

You've got the standard hubcaps, and I think you're after the 3500S ones. What steering wheel do you currently have?

hi Chris , its this one and I have never seen it before, not to my liking although I know there is plenty about my car that is "non-standard", to me this is just not right. I appreciate it goes with the seating installed by the previous owner, I'm happy with the seating but not the steering wheel, just a minor preference that I need to sort out in due course ;)

Ahh. That's actually the correct wheel for cars with power steering fitted. It's just supposed to be black.

I actually like the white wheel - suits the interior.

Hi, I see what you mean, that's going to be hard to keep clean and it's going to look scruffy over time.

Colin

its looking scruffy already Colin, amazing how something can look superbly brand new and immaculate in a photo but in reality ....... not quite the shilling
I just realised that the car is missing the dashboard mat too (heck, how could that not be there :( )

You could dye the steering wheel back to black if you’d like the original look. There’s a few products out there that would work that well.

Alternatively, you could do what I did and splash out on a Mota Lita 15” wheel.

You could just delete the short cable from the splitter forward.
Or you just need an SC choke cable, as an off the shelf solution.
However, for someone that fabricates parts from scratch, the non standard choke - cloth peg combination looks very disappointing. I would expect you to graft a new cable to the original lever. ;)
