I am not adverse to a modification if it enhances a vehicle. I think modern running gear makes P6's more practical. I am of a belief you should paint a car a colour that pleases you, as long as its relatively period. I don't see any problem with lowering P6's slightly and stiffening the suspension, gas shocks etc to improve handling. Period alloys, e.g. Cosmics, Magstars, Minilites etc really set a car apart. However, put simply to my mind this car is a dreadful .... what a waste of the blokes time and a waste of a TC.

From my discussions with a number of people whilst at the yard tinkering with mine, P6's are like Marmite, you either love then or hate them. The vast majority of people turn there noses up and genuinely see them as ugly and do not understand why I am spending so much time and money on such a car. This P6 as such only appeals to a small minority of people and this "custom" P6 to an even more minute sub group within P6 fans ......... whether it would sell at cheap money is highly debatable, net alone at what is being asked of it. I hope for the sake of the vendor I am wrong.

Is it difficult to get a V5 for the car? If they want that kind of money - surely it isnt too much trouble to get replacement registration documents? Where I live it would be almost impossible to get much more than scrap value without registration documents.

As for the car - I quite like it!

:)

No. For that amount - Registration Documents - A roof! - MOT - and some proof of the quality of the modifications - and having enough money in the bank!
