My P6B is celebrating its 54th birthday today. According to my BMHC and history files it was built on March 1 1972, St David's Day, at the Solihull plant and dispatched to New Zealand on March 23. The lucky owner was the then Commissioner of the New Zealand Police Force, Sir Angus Sharp. He used it has his personal transport. It stayed in the Sharp family until arriving in Australia in the early 2000's.
