Went to the Ashover show, in Derbyshire this weekend. and spotted several P6's!

2x Almond V8's
1x Lunar grey (can't remeber which-think it was a 2000)
1x Blue series 1 2000
and a well know technicolour P6!
Oh, and of course Erik was there.

This is an excellent show, and normally has a very good autojumble.

ooo there was heaps more than that at Harpenden last night :)

I didn't know about the Ashover event. I was bimbling my old victor 101 estate back from Macclesfield, I could have popped by...

The Ashover show isn't really that well advertised, but I believe it's hosted by one of the vintage Austin clubs. It uses several fields, normally the top field is full of vintage stuff, and the lower fields are full of classics.
The autojumble there can be really good. I picked up some P6 rear pads for 12 quid, and a new Mk2 Escort master cylinder of 15 quid :D

I'll try and remember to post about it next year. There were a few old Vauxhalls there

bet there weren't any FC 101 victors though! especially not the now hens-teeth rare estate examples :)

Cheers. Will you be at Tatton on 19-20 Aug?

Yeap, there was a 101, but it was a saloon though! I'm afraid I'm not that up on old Vauxhalls, although my friend does have quite a collection of FD Ventora's  I've been told that the torque from that old 3.3 six pot can equal a V8!!!

I'll have to look into going to Tatton, check with the boss, and all that! We do a lot of the local shows around Derbyshire, and I can never be sure whats on!

Where abouts are you located sir?
