Does anybody know the size and wattage I need for those? I reckon mine have silvered with age and are almost dead. Many thanks in advance.

the holes are too small to get your fingers in to turn the bulb . i used the top off a large felt tipped pen with a small amount of blue tack , this did not go over the glass completely but allowed me to push in gently and turn the bulb about a quarter of a turn anti clockwise to remove.

I think the OP is asking about the illumination lights, not the warning lights? The illumination bulbs are Lucas 987, 2.2w miniature screw base with a small round globe. An Osram 3966 is a 3w version, and Phillips 12875 is a 2.4w version.

By the way, there are two wattages in the warning lights. The choke, oil pressure, brake & ignition bulbs are 3.6w, the others are 2.2w.

I replaced them with LEDs which now means that I can actually see the instruments at night, but the rheostat is now on/off rather than graduated.
Unfortunately it was a few years ago and I have no recollection of the size. Also managed to crack the vinyl of the dash top in the process of replacing it after taking it off to gain access.

If i remember correctly i have installed something like 5W bulbs in mine, and the illumination is significantly better, without loosing the dimming function if necessary.

Just a quick update for others searching. The bulls have an E10 with a G3.5 glass bulb shape, using those parameters you should be able to find a number of options out there. Thanks everybody for the help.
