SD1

I must make it along to watch theses revived SD1 racecars battle it out.
Don't like the gold five spokes on that one much. Gotti rims? More suited to a Fezza I reckon. I have feelings I ought not to talk about for the five spoke Compomotives some of the other SD1s in the pack are equipped with.

Was there as a bottle washer/gopher with the Peter Jansen team. He got a cold or flu early on, went to the doctor. Cant give you anything and let you drive. What do I do then? Go out , give yourself a fright, and the natural adrelanine should make you feel better.
Watching the raw circuit only TV pics, one driver came in from practice to be told by a TV person his time, responded "F...me, is that all?".

Nice! Twin Plenum, Clive? I remember chatting to your dad at Brooklands in '97 who said that you had one.
No not twin plenum but had a few mods .
GDS 3 inch exhaust system with 1/78 4 into 1 manifolds.
Mark Adams modified ecu to use jag 4.2 flow meter, rising rate fuel regulator and solid state fuel pump resistor.
Standard camshaft, when rolling road tested produced 218 BHP, a very noticable improvement on the road.

Healthy gain there. Sounds nicely 'roadable', specially with the standard camshaft.
How is HWC these days btw, still fighting fit? Always was a stunner at the shows!
