Rust Free California car isn't... A moment of silence please...

Well, it happened...

The empty space on the drive is where the old beast has been living for the last several months. A mate offered to drag the car to his workshop where we would be free of adult supervision and have access to large power tools. More importantly tea would be available...

After only an hour or so, this happened.

A few cups of tea and a sawzall saw this happen...

I was wracked with guilt cutting up the old beast, fortunately this place was handy so, it's going in for some bodywork and a paint job on Monday...

And that, as they say, is that.

I have some parts that will be shipped off to Oz in the near future to help Mike's car. The boot floor went to New Jersey for Steven's car and, I have salvaged a few bits and pieces for Clive in that there London. She gave what she could so that others may live on - RIP old girl.

Sorry mate, the plates go on the wall of my garage along with the rest of my small but growing collection.
No worries. We look forward to your project moving forward, carry on!

Some months have passed since I completed cutting up the old beast but, an update is warranted - she is gone but she will not be forgotten and, in the end, she was able to donate parts to a few other projects in the hopes that they may live again.

The boot floor went to the honorable Sdibbers of this here parish in order that he may carry groceries home free from road grime and slush.

The air conditioning specific firewall has finally made it into the hands of the noble Mikecoombs in the mythical land of Australia, so that he may ride in air conditioned splendor.

Various nic nacs from under the bonnet made their way by special hand delivery to the venerable Clive P62 to add to his impressive stash of bits - this was probably the best bit as I got to meet Clive, his missus and son, and I got to have a quick poke around his workshop - for those of you that remember the pictures of said workshop it is every bit as great as it looks - well jealous. I wish I could have stuck around a little longer.

To each of you I am sorry that I am the world's worst at getting shizz done in a timely fashion - thanks for your patience ;) I am really glad to think we could find some use for the old girl, I just wish there had been more use for the available bits.

So, now it's over to each of you to give us a peep at your projects and progress.
