RP6C Anniversary Rally at Beamish

The entry form is now available for the Beamish Event http://www.p6club.com/node/244
The team have negotiated an absolutely superb deal where the car, driver and one passenger get in for just £15.00 that alone is a saving of £17.00 on normal Beamish prices. Extra passengers will be charged at £7.50 which again is a saving of at least £2.50, so get booked in early.
Entry to the event & rally field is strictly by advanced booking only, there will be no unbooked entries on the day.

Just a quick note to highlight an error in the latest edition of Driving Force. The price quoted in the magazine itself is wrong and should read £15 per car (Driver and 1 Passenger) and not £12.00. The entry form with the magazine is correct not the magazine. The cost for addition passengers is £7.50 each and is correct in both.

Hotel is booked, Entry form posted.

Sounds like it'll be a really good bash, really looking forward to this one. Janet says the weather has been booked too!! :D

Glad I've fitted the boot mount spare this winter - Now I can fit the cool box in the car as well as Jane's bags. Yes I know we're only staying overnight, but she likes to pack for a fortnight!

We're leaving on the Saturday morning (early) from Northampton, so anyone heading up the M1 and want to be in convoy, let me know.

......might give Ian Wilson a ring closer to the time, always a good opportunity to drop in for some spares en-route!

Brian, I hope to see you there!

My original plan was to be camping in the New Forest a week after this - and that's the leave I've got booked at work.

But I'm manoeuvring to change it...and find a campsite in County Durham and travel up on the Friday...that's the new plan as it stands anyway!

Like you...I'm looking forward to it! :D

Cheers,

Hi All
There have been a couple of requests put forward to do some Insurance Valuations (for P6's) while at the Beamish rally, so I am packing some Valuation forms to bring with me. Now the club provides this service free of charge to members while at events (£25 to non-members) and an event like the RP6C Anniversary Rally is ideal to do them but there is a limit of time, so if you do need an Insurance Valuation doing please get in touch with me and I'll add you to the list, but do it quickly and of course you'll need to be attending the rally, so get booked in!

(You'll obviously note that, I say the service is free at events, I say this because if the valuer has to travel to do a valuation, then there maybe travelling expenses incurred if not, so we do try and always do them at events where possible)

If you do miss out at the RP6C Anniversary Rally at Beamish and we sincerely hope you don't, but if you do, we are holding an Insurance Valuation event as part of the RP6C National Rally at Rugeley on 26th September 2010.

And finally if all else fails we maybe able to do a couple of Insurance Valuations before and after the RP6C AGM, which incidentally, this year is being held in Manchester on 21st November.

See you there!

I'm booked in at Byreside Campsite Andy...is this the one?

Hi everyone, I was originally meant to be in the Lake District whilst this was on but I've had to rearrange that trip for the following week now so I might be able to attend after all. We'll probably be just going as a day trip and setting off early in the morning rather than camping for the weekend.

So, what's the latest that I can enter this?

Hi Paul, be good to see you at Beamish!

I'd either email Mark Gray or give Janet Thompson a ring:-

Thanks Stan. I'll do that later.

Still got to work out the logistics of getting there in time and picking the mother-in-law up if she decides to go, but I think we're on for it now.
