AFAIK all rocker gears can be used on all heads. This part no is the last head casting no. I think you will find a date of 94 or higher. There are some sharp corners in all the ports which can be readily smoothed with a drum shaped bit or similar . Are the valve guides relieved on the top to take stem seals?
Yes, there is no problem in using P6B rocker gear with those heads. Indeed, Rover did not change the design of the rocker assemblies from P5B through to P38.
IIRC those heads have the small 28cc combustion chambers, so be sure to use composite gaskets. The fuelling may need to be re calibrated as the better flow may cause a lean situation.
Certainly check the lifter pre load to be safe. Fit valve stem seals if you can. They are nearly plug and play, but not quite.
