Rover P6 Wing Mirror

Hi once more, final post for the night I promise! My wing mirror is tatty. It is pitted and the glass is a bit chipped. Does anyone know where one could source one of these? Are they a generic BL item or Rover specific? I think a new one would be cheaper than trying to re chrome the existing. Picture attached.

Feel your pain. Unless you can find a name or type for it, you are going to have to browse the web at length until you find one the same. If it has 2 fixings on the back, maybe measure their spacing to help locating one.

I have not seen this pattern of mirror before. It looks very similar to the standard Wingard ones that are generally factory / dealer options but does not have the screws exposed. Yours also has stange riveited backplate on the head. My guess is that if there is no makers name on the arm, then there could be one under the foot when you take it off?

It might be easier (albeit more expensive) to replace both.
At least they will definitely match!
