Rover P4, but what is it?

Hi all,
any ideas on what, who, when etc on this?
4-5 inches long.
Looks like carved out but on the other hand quite smooth.
Any ideas?

It's a Jaguar Mk2, it's got the looks of a coal carving but looks crude.

Ty! So it is not a Rover then, sad. Is ”coal carving” a regular craftsmanship?

Apparently it dates back to ancient China and is still done to the present day.
