Rover on Australian TV - Jack Irish

The latest series of Jack Irish began last week. Jack is a former police officer with Victoria Police, and so in a state where the Rover P6/P6B had its highest sales, Jack finds himself driving one.

I doubt it. If it's fitted with a Winkworth Bell, I'd be surprised if it moves at all.

The back tyre looks to be huge! Reminds me of the time I put 205 section tyres on standard mk4 Cortina rims…..didn’t end well!

I noted elsewhere - S2 grille, but strip speedo. It died in Ep2, struck in the rear by an out of control pole of some sort. Not a Pole, mind. Looks like a 'Fiske Bros' sticker in the back window.

Yeah it confused me at first and someone mentioned the 4cyls retained the strip speedo in the S2....

SC models did, both 2000 and 2200. Series 2 TC had the round clock dash.
