Did anyone else read the article in this weeks Classic Car Weekly?

Apparently Since ford bought the rights to the Rover Name and sold the rights along with Jaguar and Land Rover to the TATA company of India there may be a Rover car again.

Very interesting turn up especially since TATA was in chaoots with rover over the TATA Inca/City Rover. The article said they were interested in the european market and branding there cars as Rover is a way in.

So China are making old MG and 75 cars but can only call them Rowe. Indian derived model range of Rovers are on the cards. Who would have thought that this would happen a few years back.

Another odd thing in connection to the TATA company. They seem to be buying up ex Britsh Government nationalised companies. Land rover, jaguar, rover and I am sure they own what was British steel. If only they could take over the railways :;):
