Rover 2000SC 1968 - New member

[RWDROVER]

Hello all

well after being a BMC buff for a few years i decided to buy myself a Rover 2000 and join the owners club.

You will probably have seen the rover i bought as it was in volume 23 of the P6 news, it's the blue G reg one with 35381 miles on the clock and had been stood in a garage for 23 years.

well got it home and after a good clean he ain't bad. the mileage is genuine and thankfully the seats have had plastic covers on from new so the interier is pristine (well after a good clean it was) the underneath is solid and no wedling is needed anywhere.

i will see if i can take some photo's and put them on the site.

watch this space and i will let you know how I am getting on as he needs a few things doing to get him back on the road.

Welcome to the P6 ROC & this forum, and I am sure you will have a long and happy association with your Rover P6. Sounds a very interesting series 1.

How did you get it home, may be a good article for P6 News!.

Any problems you may have please ask away, as there are plenty of knowledgeable people on this forum, also remember to use the search facility as most questions may have answered in previous threads.
