Rover 100 P4 missing spark

Hello,
Does anyone have any tips on where to look for the problem? The problem is a missing spark, distributor cap replaced, coil replaced, capacitor replaced, breaker points replaced and adjusted.
I get spark to the plug directly from the center pin of the coil, but not otherwise.
How should the capacitor and breaker point wires be connected inside the ignition distributor, can they be connected incorrectly?
 
If it's losing the spark between the king lead going into the cap, and the plug leads coming out, chances are it's the rotor arm shorting to earth. Remove the cap, take the king lead out, and crank the engine while holding the king lead just off the rotor arm. If you get a spark the rotor arm is faulty.
