Rostyle - Tyres for rostyle

I have a 2000. What tyres size should I put on with Rostyle wheels?
If I put the normal 2000 size tyres, as the rostlyes have a 5.5 inch rim against the normal 5 inch rim of ordinary cars and the car rides at a much lower height.

If the wheels are the same diameter i.e. 14inch and you fit the same size tyres, i.e. 165/14 (I think) then they will be the same height and roller radius. The excess width of the rostyle will make the tyre look slightly "stretched" but won't be a problem.

You could however go up a size or two in width, i.e. 175 or 185 possibly 195 , but you must get reduced profile to keep the rolling radius the same, otherwise the speedo will read incorrectly. i.e. 195/65/14

Try this website, there is a tyre calculator on there, enter the details of the original tyres, and details of tyres you want to fit and it will tell you the difference in speedo reading.
