Rocker covers for paint

Avacado? Now that's plain silly talk, Micks a man of impeccable taste, I've seen the pics of his polka dot golfing trousers, now mysteriously removed. (the pics, not the strides, we're not that close)

.... so tempted to do it in Almond agonised over the decision should I shan't I then 1 second later decided NO!!!!!!!

.

Mr R/D, they started it...............they bought them :D oh no massive schoolboy error, just noticed in the pics the magnecor leads numbering, that has to go, or are they canary yellow.

Mick, what's happening on the right hand side there next to your coil?
Is that some kind of HHO generator?
They wont be able to pick your engine bay up on radar soon :)
Jim

That's the airhorns, Mrs Happy Days always loved the sound as a kid, so she gets her way as she never complains about all the other bits I do. They sound ok too

Yes Mick, very individual
Mean and warm at the same time or monster with ribbons??????

Need to do something with the airbox, main body is too big. Thinking of thr rover bonnet badge but how to replicate it on the airbox mmmmmm.

I have an idea for you Mick,
Print off a pic of the bonnet badge to your desired size cut it out and either laquire it or pinch some of Mrs's clear nail varnish then once dry stick it in place....that way it should be protected from the damp and any water..... Should work me thinks :)

If i were to attempt a rover badge to match what you've done i think i'd want to just do a red outline drawing of it on the air filter housing. (Shiny red on matt black would match the rest of it i think!)

Not tin foil or paper clips then? :)

Only problem with lacquer or nail varnish is its shiny, I'm going for the " stealth " look. Had a look at the stickers John, good shout on that one, would it melt with the heat in their mmmmmm. Mr R/D I like it only thing my art work is crap, but going to see if I can make a stencil up.

Good idea, again the easyist way of making a stencil is to cut out the bits you want to paint on the air box out of a pic or photo of the badge make sure the stencil is taped on the airbox as tight as posible or you will get runs or bleeding

"edit" just had this idea;
Alternatley you can buy some opague clear sticky back sheets and stic that over a pic or photo and that will dull it down
