Removal of roof gutter trims

Yep, shouldn’t be a problem. IIRC they snap over the steel frame and can be removed independently of the roof.

Be careful not to twist or deform them, which is surprisingly easy, or perhaps I'm just a ham fisted twerp. Refitting is satisfying once you twig the 'gently thwack with the heel of the hand' method. Be prepared for bits of the drip rail to come off with the trim, if you're unlucky.

How do they come off, slide off?

Open front door, pull rubber seal out of channel on A pillar, drill out pop rivets securing A pillar and A pillar top stainless steel trim. Then grab the bottom edge of the gutter trim and pull out away from side of car, it should unclip from gutter. You may need to remove D pillar panel to remove rear end (I can’t remember).
