Relief  :-)

Indeed

I just returned from the customs office in a foul mood (refusing to do the paperwork for a car we are importing - each visit its a different reason!)(car will soon be a "spares" one at this rate!).

I digress

I was in a very bad mood - then a miracle occured - like a shining beacon - there in my inbox was a message from god (OK Richard the webmaster!)

The forum was back!!

All praise Richard!

:D

Thanks guys, it's nice to be back, even I kept going to the site to look at the forum before remembering it wasn't up !! :D

There have been a number of people asking exactly what happened, so to prevent more people asking the same question, I am going to prepare a statement and post it up later this evening.

I too am glad the forum is back.
The only thing I have left of my P6 is the engine and box now. Most of it went to good homes though.

Its a shame the chat section of the forum has disapeared? :(
On every other forum that I frequent that has tried this the tech sections end up becoming more chatty and less techy and eventually restore the social lounges.

Looking forward to you're statment, Rick. Ive been getting p6 withdrawal symptoms!!! I want another. :( ... preferably a less rotten one :D

Welcome back indeed! I discovered during the absence of the forum that it was my main attraction to the site. I am curious about the reason for its temporary closure, and I am looking forward to reading why.

I assume that something was said or a theme was developing on the forum that was personal and not P6-related. If that means that the general moaning section is gone forever then I shall miss it. I think that the whole world is getting too prissy and correct, and that we should not be afraid to express opinions that may upset other people --- as long as those views are not untrue or libelous.

Thank you Mr Webmaster for all your good work!
