Rear brakes

Can anyone give me an exploded diagram of the rear breaks? I have pulled off the hoses back there and kinda forgot what goes where and what gets the longer thread and what gets the shorter threaded size IMG_20201022_205050.jpgIMG_20201022_205111.jpgIMG_20201022_205106.jpg
These are what I have the new and old hoses and the solid hose...I can't remember what side gets the longer thread and where the solid pipe or what rubber hose goes from caliper to caliper if anyone has a diagram or photo I would much appreciate it

The hose with the metal coil around it goes between the O/S caliper and the metal pipe on the base unit. The short end screws into the caliper with a copper washer. It fits into the upper hole on the caliper.

The other one goes between the calipers, the short end screws into the lower hole on the O/S caliper with a copper washer, and then fits to the short metal pipe on the N/S caliper which is in the upper hole.

Thanks for that I have alot of thread left over with putting the hose into the metal pipe is this Normal? Or am I supposed to have a nut on there to but up against the pipe?IMG_20201023_021135.jpg
This is all the thread left over once it's threaded tight is this correct?

You are supposed to have a bracket on the caliper, that the hose goes through and is held with a shakeproof washer and a locknut, before the small metal pipe fitting is screwed on to it. Once that is all in palce it will look like it should do.

Hi Grey Rover here. I am in need of an adjuster on the rear P6 caliper, does anyone have a spare available? I am in New Zealand, the part number is GI64327649 it is called piston cup assy.

Thanks in advance

John.

I’d post this in the Wanted section. Might get more traction.

What is happening with that sexy diff now ? I operate a lonely diff re homing scheme here in Suffolk where they can live out their days in peace(s)
Very discriminatory that you chose not to take in my spare Jag diff then, it dreams of rotating again, and cant help but feel inferior sitting next to its Powerlock cousin on the shelf :(

Ah, that reminds me! Any progress on new driveshafts? I discovered an add recently where GKN state they made all the gears for P6s, gotta figure out which subsidiary made the axles...Possibly Hardy Spicer...

Hello Mike
Short answer - no.

Reasons -
Total lack of interest by all approached parties
Lockdown
Not being able to drive the car much means the project has been pushed back
Did manage another track outing however, and did not break anything
Have a spare diff, and a spare pair of shafts in carriers

Assume you have no luck either ?

Pretty similar story here... There is a guy in Newcastle (Aus) that people keep recommending but he is about 1 hour away by freeway from both my houses. I should get there soon though.

I take loads, here's one :)

This picture helped so much thankyou I got everything back in and breaks going yesterday somehow it was much easier pulling the hoses back on than takeing them off though had to blow air thru the caliper to dislodge some rubber or something that ended up blocking it up buuuuut it's now all working and had the first test drive...only gets to 15mph so I hope that is just cause I didn't tune the carbs otherwise I'll be pulling the engine apart again I'll have to post another question in the engine place here thankyou and everyone else for all your help
