Pulsating brake pedal

If you still have doubts, post up some pics of the calipers/discs/whatever you can get a camera aimed at, and I'll have a look and see if there's anything obvious.
Thanks for the offer, I have just ordered the discs. I already have a new set of rear pads and calipers repair kits. If I get stuck I will be in touch !

Hi, Does it do it when reversing? If so then it may be the diff front mounting. Braking and reversing cause the nose of the diff to go down and if the mounting rubber is soft the propshaft bolts clip the crossmember, check also the spacer on the through bolt is present as well.

Thanks, I will try. I have ordered new discs now, but if you right I might wait to do the discs .

An update on my brakes , new discs and pads fitted, Happy Days..it is like a new car!!
The discs were marked in a way that the pads were only making contact in parts, hence the uneven braking. So I assume the were slightly warped.
Thanks to all who replied to my posts and for the advice. Hopefully it will be a long while before I need to do them again, but it turned out to be quite straightforward. The only hiccup is I am waiting for new locking tabs before I can torque it up and road test properly, but just a trip down the drive instantly felt better.

Fitted new discs and pads, it obviously has had new callipers and hoses not long ago as they are all very new and shiny, I think the recent lack of use has been the problem. Anyway, took the car out for a road test today and all is now fine. A pleasure to drive. Thanks to all for your advice and assistance, probably like many others I was a bit apprehensive about doing the job but it all went well and I have learned a bit along the way!!
