Looks a great achievement for the time... I quite like our prius especially for round town driving, but it's definitely less ambitious than it could be. If the battery pack was twice the size it would help for starters.... Off the line acceleration is good as is interior space. Very grey inside and definitely doesnt have sports car handling. Good alternative to a renault scenic or other mid size mpv though...
 
We are on are second Prius the first having ben "T" bone parked outside our house while away in India. Vey reliable, well built excellent fuel consumtion and plenty of room. I would n't want to work on one it looks quite complicted.
My rover made a much better wedding car for my daughter earlier this year and I can work Roger the rover (family name)!! :)
