Yesterday it stopped raining, yes truly. I thought I would start the Rover and warm it up as I had not heard it for quite a while, this led to easing it outside, which led to warming up in the drive way, which led to me sitting there looking at the dry road, which...................

Well I gave it quite a spanking and came home with a big grin.

I see Wednesday is forecast sunny, so I am thinking that I may do the same again. Anyone else going to slot in a point and squirt before Boris pulls the plug ?

Mine should be coming back from a gearbox rebuild on Tuesday, so I'll have to give it a good test run. Of course I will be using it for a few essential journeys.

Me too :)

Popped into work to install a dashcam, warmed up the engine but was short of petrol, so popped down to the filling station, didn't seem like it was going to rain for a while so went for a drive around town. and country, and motorway, :)

How? How on earth do you manage to drive that car anywhere, with all the women throwing themselves at it wherever you go?

I know, it's a chore, some days - sheesh. But someone has to do it.

God I hope the missus is not reading this. I think I'll hide the skewers.

I was out in Hazel yesterday & stopped to take a photo to post on here....

I was about to leave when I saw another P6 & it was local P6 owner Dave who pulled up for a chat!

It was a genuine co-incidence, honestly. But how many times do you see another P6 on the road?

My car is off the road temporarily, so in the meantime I have been enjoying going for walks in the neighbourhood. In the last couple of days I saw a few people out for a jolly in their own classics. Midweek I saw an immaculate dark green DB6 go by, the very next day I saw a chap enjoying their navy blue '62 Ferrari 250 GT 2+2. Each of those cars must be worth about half a million quid! Both cars looked quite splendid in the bright early morning sunshine. No pix I'm afraid, I wasn't able to grab my phone quickly enough.
